🚨BREAKING: Chelsea believe the main reason for their stop-start season has been the unplanned change of coach which the club were forced into when Enzo Maresca effectively quit. [telegraph] telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

The fact people grip and hold onto Enzo Maresca proves they’ve never seen this club be successful. The fact this guy is deemed as Prime Pep says a lot about our recruitment model put in place by the ownership. But BlueCo dug this hole and now they have to face the music.

The UK government has given former Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich a final chance to pay £2.5bn to Ukraine or face legal action. Abramovich pledged in 2022 that proceeds from the sale of the club would go to support victims of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Contrary to popular opinion, Gusto did not regress this season; rather, he massively improved. Always been an inconsistent player technically. During the 23/24 season, despite playing as an overlapping RB he often had misplaced passes, struggled defending his backposts, and relied on volume in regards to his crosses. Simply put: he's never been an efficient player on the ball. There's not enough sample size on his crossing, but he can still be suspect at the back post. However, passing is more efficient, and generally, what has improved the most is his IQ. Defends space well, how/when/why to move and what it achieves, and less instinctive. Influenced by the roles he's been asked to play throughout this season, and he's going to become a much more complete FB due to it. Same way Palmer/Colwill/Cucu/James/Jackson/Enzo, and so many others were pushed within the squad. Develop good players and you will become a good team.
