My theory: burnout has nothing to do with how many hours or how hard you work. It's caused by working for people you don't like, towards goals you don't believe in, in systems that grant you no agency.

I want to afford a lifestyle that allows me to buy mama and papa a brand new car, or a vacation house somewhere nice… for no reason at all. I want to be rich enough to ask which rolex or a|p they like.

The thing that makes me sad nowadays is the fact that papa is 68 and mama is 65 and i am still - not rich.
