LONDON MARATHON 2026 Shall we see a Sub 2 Hour? This has to be one of the deepest and strongest marathon line-ups we’ve seen in a long time. Huge credit to the London Marathon organisers for bringing together athletes who don’t just race to win, but race to push the limits. For years, a sub-2 hour marathon in open competition felt far off and something people talked about in theory. But with these names, it suddenly feels less like a dream and more like a real possibility. Maybe 1:59 still doesn’t happen in 2026. But what’s clear is that we’re closer than we’ve ever been. And if it’s going to happen anywhere, London feels like the right place. And also, it'll be a Sabiny Affair 🤭
