I was skeptical at first of S&Box, because how do you make a successor to Garry’s Mod when it has DECADES worth of community content and tools already made
But S&Box does feel more like an actual game creator engine, like Roblox. The fact you can even publish and monetize on Steam is HUGE
Gmod is cool, but it’s undoubtedly a very old engine with tons of limitations
These games entirely hinge on the community of course, which needs time to simmer. I think in the long haul, S&Box will be a fantastic hub for people, both creators and players
