@valeterisa Also didn't like that so many huge lore drops were made here, and none of the core crew were there for it. But the arc has a lot of good stuff like character development for one of the last characters you'd expect to have development. And several of the doubles are fun

@valeterisa I didn't hate it the way other people did; I loved exploring the various realities (other people hate that). But there's a part at the end where someone figures out how to bypass the 17 root limit and it just becomes an incoherent battle that lasts multiple chapters

@valeterisa I think before the rewrite it was populated by harpies, but the monster kind. Then after pirate decided harpies were thinking beings and lore-relevant, the rewrite wiped all mentions of them

@valeterisa @M4sterOfNone yeah I think it will probably read better as a binge but I can't deny it's probably pirate's weakest arc. all the personal character moments are still good as ever even during the arc, but the main story also plays extremely heavily into pirate's weaknesses

@M4sterOfNone @cmarguel That’s good to hear! pirate isn’t a perfect author by a long shot I have a lot of criticisms but also a lot of praises haha like u said they’re allowed to make mistakes. I think even their work that doesn’t hit as hard is still good. I’m looking forward to it tbh
