Teachers, NEVER let anyone make you feel guilty for enjoying your time off from school. Whether its excited on a Friday afternoon or even that summer is near. Teachers pour out their heart & soul on a daily basis! You're human, you have to recharge!

When students realize you're on their side and have their best interest at heart it makes all the difference. Admin, same is true of your staff.

Admin has no real control over pay, but they can encourage their staff and show them appreciation by covering lunch, bus, or car line duties,as well as ensuring teachers planning time is not interrupted and keep meetings limited as much as possible. The little things matter too!

Here’s a tip for young administrators: Give teachers the benefit of the doubt. You will never lead them effectively if you don’t learn to trust them.
