@ChocolateARFC1 Agree Colin, the key for me is how we coach the chaos to facilitate the best learning possible.

@coaching_fun Being too structured can limit the ability of your playersnto become better decision makers. By encouraging less structure or chaos also allows the players to react & adapt when faced with challenges, in turn helping them problem solve on the hoof.

Hey coaches, what are your thoughts on this?

A great few days up north working for @scotrugbycoach as part of the Advanced Coaching Course with Inverness Craig Dunain Women and Caithness Krakens. A couple of observations, loads of discussions then game day today with ICT coming out on top.

Its been a busy few weeks but really enjoying supporting @BishoptonRFC. Good to be down helping coaches on Tuesday and Wednesday this week with U13, U14 and women. @scotrugbycoach @CoachingAl

We need to stop imposing adult style warm ups on children in sport. For most children, warm ups are simply an opportunity for more play. And we should afford them that opportunity.

After three and a half years I will be moving on from working with Hamilton Rugby Club. I have loved working with everyone at the club and seeing the school rugby and participation grow in the area! I am excited to start my next challenge in July and the new season ahead! 🟢🔵

Focus on long-term success, but be willing to make short-term adjustments to get there.

Over the years coaching I've learned that positive reinforcement is far more beneficial than negative feedback. To be slow to correct and quick to praise. There's power is that.
