@SportsingJim Agree, but the secondary has been god awful all season too. I know with no pressure they have to cover more but still.

Abdul Carter could create pressure frequently on his own and this freed up the other 10 players to make plays. Every quarterback, dating back to Nevada, has had a pretty easy time with pressure this season.

There is a lot to be said about the Penn State Defense this season and why they’ve struggled (new defense, etc.), but it feels like it really boils down to not getting any pressure from the front 4/6
