Julia and Tim Roske of Albany, NY, handmade this telescope similar to making a canoe. It has an 8 mm lens and a hand ground mirror. #EclipseSolar2024

@ReadCarlos The couple next to the sky canoe folks drove from DALLAS! I asked when they made the call to bail, they said on Friday. They arrived Sunday nite and slept in their car near that park. We're from central MA and stumbled on that park by accident, we could not have asked for better.
