How terrible that is for the story and for wrestling. Disco Inferno catches strays. Again. “You and everyone who represents you (…) can KISS MY ASS” this is the face directly calling out the people who made this decision. TKO. This all feels very authentic, somebody higher up has it out for Cody Rhodes, despite him always knocking it out of the park when given the ball. “This was simple” — he KNOWS this was a touchdown. easiest layup ever. references his mentor, his friend, 20 years of history with two of the best in the business to tell the story. And they still fumbled. Reminds everyone this is a WRESTLING MATCH. A concept those in charge can’t seem to grasp. “What are you gonna do?
