I studied the top-performing tweets from creators with 50k to 1M+ followers. 4 patterns kept showing up across all of them. Here's what actually drives reach on X:

"Just be authentic and people will follow you." Worst advice on the internet. Authenticity without strategy is a diary. Nobody's searching for your unfiltered thoughts. What works: be authentic about something specific. Have a point of view. Make it useful. Authentic + strategic = magnetic.

I studied the viral posts of creators with 50k to 1M+ followers. The ones that blew up didn't start with a lesson. They started with a result. Lead with the transformation. Teach after they stop scrolling.

@DavidPreti yes, daily consistency > a 1-day "motivated sprint" that doesn't get any followup

You don't need to quit your job to build a SaaS. I coach agile teams during the day. Evenings and weekends, I build products. 4 live SaaS. Notion templates generating (small) revenue. The constraint of limited time forces you to build only what matters.

@DavidPreti I'm not a strict stickler for the rules, but curious on your takes on practices & platforms from your experience storypointing, daily standups and all what did you keep vs what do you think is fluff?

20 years as an agile coach. Thousands of retrospectives. Every single team had the same problem: action items disappear after the meeting. So I built retro-action-tracker.com. Kanban board, KPIs, accountability. Took one weekend to ship what took me 20 years to understand.

@DavidPreti the best solutions commonly come from solving your own problems airbnb founders couldn't pay rent → now valued at ~$80B

Niche SaaS playbook: Don't build features. Automate what they do manually. My wife tracked patient billing in a spreadsheet. I didn't invent a new system. I automated her Excel sheet. Le Cabinet was born from that. Not a brilliant idea. A spreadsheet turned into product.

i'm done posting random content and hoping something sticks. new approach: study what's actually working on X, break it down, and share the playbook starting with the top posts of 2025 from creators with 50k to 1M+ followers. if you want the breakdowns, follow along. first one's already live.

i've bought the courses. joined the communities. done the challenges. the thing nobody tells you: the strategy is only 20% of the work. the other 80% is reps. showing up when the numbers say you should quit.

@DavidPreti right on that - a tool that's best *for someone* might not be the best *for you* which may even change for you, at a different time

everyone's sharing their AI tool stack. the tools aren't the advantage. access to AI is the same for everyone now. the advantage is knowing what to build, who to build it for, and how to get it in front of them. AI is the accelerator. taste is the moat.

@danlockin I agree, the fact that I have 20+ years in development just lets me go faster with the AI than somebody without that experience. But now everybody can develop a new app in a couple of hours. So I have to learn new skills to keep an advantage.

i used to pride myself on coding ability 8+ years in AI, trained for programming olympiads, the whole thing now? in 90%+ of cases, you don't need to code to build a business the real assets aren't technical: • attention • brand • relationships these are the non-replaceables in a post-AI world

Your tweets aren't your product. Your perspective is. Posts are just packaging. What people actually buy into is how you see the world. That's why two people can tweet the same advice and get completely different results.

My method for improving fast on X: 1. Find 10 creators in your niche doing 50k+ 2. Pull their top 20 posts by engagement 3. Write down why each one worked 4. Notice the patterns 5. Apply to your own ideas This isn't copying. It's studying the game before you play it.

Quick update on the scheduling fixes I mentioned yesterday - all resolved. 1. Scheduling reliability - fully rebuilt. Posts fire when they're supposed to. 2. Timezone - fixed. Your posts go out in your timezone. Ask Stanley what your timezone is just to be sure! 3. Published posts now show on your calendar - they were disappearing before. The hard part is behind us. Scheduling should be working much better now. To double-check Stanley's work, you can see all your scheduled and published posts on the web app. Thanks for your patience yesterday. Next on the roadmap: Stanley's brain level up 🧠 - many early adopters were impressed by how smart he was. We were barely scratching the surface. We're bringing in the best practices for threads, guidelines, engagement strategy, growth hacks, and content systems. Stay tuned! P.S. We're launching on Wednesday and not gonna lie - I feel SO MUCH pressure rn 😬 How to check your schedules 👇

@KristenInMotion @vitaliidodonov +1 auto-DMs + scheduling are top-of-mind features that most tools are either hit-or-miss at (i.e. a bit better for scheduling but doesn't have auto-DM, etc.) then nice-to-haves: - audience demographics - best time to post - unfollowers CC: @vitaliidodonov @IAmPascio

@GasperCrepinsek @modest__9 this reminds me of a vid from @AlexHormozi not all views are equal MrBeast has millions of views (entertainment) But if you're targeting business owners—it's a smaller pool in the first place (34M) But get them right and they'd have higher willingness to pay

I've lost a lot of followers recently. Sometimes -20 overnight. Was I doing something wrong? Nope X just banished a bunch of bots. Good riddance. I don't care how big my follower count is. I only focus on audience quality. Quality audience = Quality clients
