My process is simple Scanning - look for stocks near highs or listed within a year Just checking which are the themes having the maximum number of stocks to identify the top 3 to 5 themes. Move the stocks that are immediately buyable to the focus list for the next day. Prioritize the ones having smaller market capitalization and also from a strong theme. Buy as the price of my high priority names starts moving up, with day low as my stop loss. More than this, I don't apply anything else.

More than the money, I’m happy that after 20 years my judgment is still relevant. Markets change, sectors change, narratives change. Even blockbuster directors eventually deliver flops. Staying relevant is the hardest compounding of all

Great moves come after 4-5 subsequent Qtrs improvement. Retailers die riding same stock when performance fails in subsequent qtrs. Some Cos post good results because of earlier inventory of raw material.

Price volatility is fine, but thesis rejection is not. If it doesn’t behave as per thesis, just leave it. Find something better.

Same old lessons after reviewing my journal. Keep your losses small. Trail your winners if you can; else capture a minimum of 6-7 times the risk taken. Select the strongest stocks from the strong themes. If the theme is not strong, the catalyst should be very strong.

You never know when luck will play out. Just keep doing your work every day with devotion and respect. Believe in the God you believe in. Sometimes luck is just God rewarding you for being ready

@SureshKBN the order book story — everything played out exactly the way you said it would. ✅I missed the bus on acting on it fully. That's entirely on me. But what I got from you is something more lasting — a way of thinking about businesses. That I didn't miss. Respects always. 🙏

It’s hard to watch people outgrow you, and even harder when it appears to be easy. Money is a tool to achieve your goals. But no goals are worth it, if patty emotions like envy get the better of you Remember your roots. Remember your WHY for participating in the markets.

Do you feel Envy? Compete. - Compete with yourself first. - Set benchmarks based on your own past performance and commit yourself to improving daily. - Learn to live with a little bit of pain, boredom, and patience. Envy your own benchmarks first. Then the others.

Very tight spread, and sellers are keeping their price just above the highest buyer bid, then it keeps going up slowly, is clearly an HFT style setup for me.

Just reading the order book logs in pre-market tells you a lot about the truth behind the price. One must learn to spot manipulation at all possible levels to increase one's edge. sellerCount > buyerCount, still, the price going up is a clear sign of pumping to me.

I have no inclination to run paid services or “empower retail investors” as a business. Even If a few people here learn to think independently, do their own work, and build generational wealth of ₹XXX cr or more on their own, that’s more than enough. I know I may fail. But if I do, I’ll fail knowing I gave it my best shot. In the end, that’s all anyone can ask for. Think big. Act independently. Own the outcome
