Most automation workflows do not fail because the logic is wrong. They fail because nobody designed for retries, rate limits, observability, cost, ownership, and bad data. I’m building tools and writing notes to help automation builders ship production-grade workflows.

@devops_nk If you have years of experience you likely worked with all of these technologies, it doesn't mean the company uses all of them, so no, its not an entire department, but if you know aws and scripting you likely will be good with gcp or azure as well.

Dear recruiters, If you're looking for: • AWS, Azure, GCP • Kubernetes, Docker • Terraform, Ansible • Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, GitLab • Linux, Networking, Security • Monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana) • Scripting (Bash, Python) • Incident management, SRE practices - That's not a DevOps Engineer. - That's an entire IT Department.

@zuess05 No offense lol, smart people can do everything. But I see a trend where 1-2 year react coder after online courses is trying to build a marketplace or real-time app for crypto traders. The common thing between them they choke on deadlock

SOMEONE BUILT A CLAUDE CODE PLUGIN THAT REFUSES TO WORK UNTIL YOU DO PUSH-UPS OR SQUATS its called workout gate and it is exactly as cursed as it sounds when the hook fires, it blocks your prompt, opens your webcam, and makes you exercise to keep coding > it counts your reps live through the webcam with mediapipe, no honor system rounding down > only releases your prompt once you actually finish the reps > quit halfway and the leftover reps get saved as debt for your next session > chill, demo and hardcore presets, plus prompt based, time based or random triggers > tracks stats, streaks and personal records right in the claude code statusline we automated the coding, now we're automating the part where we actually take care of ourselves
