@GigaBasedDad I did something similar. I try to email my son and daughter something about what is going on every week or so. One day I hope they look back at their old emails so they can see how they grew from babies to adults.

The sheer stupidity of those pushing to shut down the IRS is mind-blowing. Without the IRS, who audits Americans? No one. Without audits, who actually pays their fair share in taxes? Almost no one. Without income taxes, how does the government generate revenue to balance the budget? It doesn’t. People need to think beyond just one-step consequences. Wrecking tax enforcement doesn't just hurt the government, it collapses the whole system. It collapses America.
