i feel immensely lucky to support someone like heeseung. it means so much to me that he never dismissed the fact that we all grew to love him as heeseung, and that he’s genuinely okay with whatever we choose to call him. whether it’s heeseung or evan. he embraces both, valuing whatever brings us joy and comfort and i think that says a lot about him. instead of drawing a line between the past and present, he chooses to honor everything we’ve shared with him. as someone who treasures so many memories of him as heeseung, that made me feel incredibly seen, cared for and not invalidated. it’s like he understands that those moments matter just as much to us as the ones we’ll make in the future to him, it’s all beautiful. not because of the name itself, but because of the love and time we’ve given and will share together ♡
