The man who poisoned my goats is now making goat sounds and confessing. Here's what happened: Last month, I traveled for 2 days, and someone went to my farm and po1soned my 15 goats, four of them were already pregnant. They all d1ed. When I came back and saw what had happened, I called my dad immediately. He told me not to go near the farm or touch anything, and to just leave immediately. That same day, he came with a man. The three of us went to the farm, and the man poured powders on the dead goats and around the farm. He told me not to step onto the farm for 30 days. We left, and I didn't ask any questions since it was my dad who brought him. Last night, I came back very late, and our gateman told me that some people had come looking for me. I asked who, but he couldn't describe them well, so I just said okay. Early this morning, those people came again. They said they wanted to see me because the man who sold me the land had been sick and occasionally made goat sounds. He finally confessed that he poisoned my goats. (For context, it's a small fenced farm. He sold part of it to me, but he also farms vegetables on his section, so we both have keys.) I said okay, I didn't do anything, and I just left the person to God. They left. I called my dad to give him the update. He called the man, who said he is currently in Abidjan and won't be back until next month.
