i genuinely do not understand this reasoning. What do people think we did before capitalism? like the labor people did for their own basic necessities was... just not slavery somehow? like the default state of nature is lounging peacefully on the ground eating berries?

Why are people mad about this? It's not about poverty of language, it's about the inexplicability of (still) using 12 as a unit of measurement. Why 12? It feels arbitrary and probably derives from historical conventions and considerations that are no longer relevant.

I don't understand the point of using the term "dozen". It means 12, so just say 12? It's even worse when people say or type "half a dozen". Just say 6 or six.

Lyanna Stark is not a masculine hero who saves the day. She's a little girl with a good heart in a horrible situation. A huge part of the first book is how she's objectified even in memory. And tbh I don't think anyone has hated Sansa in like 20 years.
