No sé porqué tanto lío con Folgueiras y sus minutos de ayer. El día de Nebraska era un claro partido para el malagueño pero ayer ante dos gigantes en la pintura era momento de Manyawu o Howard, a pesar de su inoperancia ofensiva. Ni ayer no valía nada, ni el otro día era NBA!

Alvaro Folgueiras went from his stretch over the season in past three games to 9min, 2 TO, 2 stocks, no points, boards or assists. In a game where hawks desperately needed some physicality on the boards, he couldn’t get there. That’s tough.

Qué bonito despertar con esta noticia. Folgueiras está siendo uno de los nombres del torneo final de la NCAA. Esta madrugada ha jugado otro gran partido siendo clave en el tramo final. ¡¡ Si Iowa gana el próximo partido Álvaro jugará la Final Four !! ¿Saldrá elegido en la segunda ronda del Draft? ¿Volverá a Europa? Hay que verle en otro contexto, pero lo que está haciendo es muy prometedor.

His 44th Usg hovers Edey Clingan. I don't expect 7'3 giants to defend perimeter. Mara is the next iteration of Playmaking Giants, with very underrated Post scoring (his post touch hovers Ayton, Jahlil Okafor). Pair all this with elite interior def at 7'3, I have Mara ranked as high as 5-8th best prospect.

Aday Mara is a very good prospect - possibly a lottery level guy But let's also remember that he's an upperclassman, will be age 21 on draft night which is on the older side He doesn't shoot 3's, struggles from FT line Can't really get out on the perimeter & contest 3's or close out on guys so like if he's going against a team w/ a 5 who can attack OTD from the perimeter or shoot the 3 then it could be tough to put him on the floor Like, h can only defend in the paint pretty much. That can work in college but the NBA a lot of the 5's can shoot and/or drive from the perimeter. There's more spacing, it's a faster game. There's defensive 3 seconds, etc. And he's had some issues w/ touch on shots within 15 feet of the basket (doesn't really take shots beyond 15 feet), has had some issues w/ fouling & has had some issues w/ turnovers Has also had some issues w/ mobility/conditioning Good prospect (has been top 20 on my board for a bit) but let's not get carried away 🤝 W/ that being said, after the top 5-7 or so guys at the top of this draft class, it's pretty wide open & all the guys in that range have question marks so not that crazy to have him top 10, I suppose

I try not to imagine how good UCLA would be if it had 7-3 Aday Mara protecting the paint. Had 9 starts, averaged 11.5 minutes in his two seasons in Westwood. A force now at Michigan.
