میں واللہ حیران ہوتی ہوں پاکستانیوں کی کم عقلی دیکھ کر۔ عمران ریاض کی ویڈیوز ایک ملین لوگ کیسے دیکھتے ہیں؟ خدارا، اس جہالت سے باہر نکلو پاکستانیوں۔ امریکہ نے پاکستان سے کبھی اڈے مانگے ہی نہیں۔ وہ ایک امریکی صحافی نے عمران خان سے ایک ہائپوتھٹیکل سوال پوچھا تھا، جس کے جواب میں عمران خان نے "Absolutely not" کہا۔ عمران خان کی حکومت کو ہٹائے ہوئے چار سال ہو گئے، تو ان چار سالوں میں امریکہ نے کتنے پاکستانی اڈے لیے؟ امریکہ کو پاکستان میں اڈے چاہیے ہی نہیں۔ کس چیز کے لیے؟ ایران پر حملے کے لیے بھی امریکہ کو اڈے نہیں چاہئیں۔ امریکہ کے اڈے سمندروں پر تیرتے ہیں، اور اسرائیل، اردن اور قطر کے زمینی اڈے کافی ہیں۔ یہ جو عمران ریاض کر رہا ہے نا، اسے انگریزی میں confirmation bias کہتے ہیں، مطلب یہ آپ کو وہی بتا رہا ہے جو آپ سننا چاہتے ہیں۔ اکثر لوگ ویوز کے لیے یہی حکمتِ عملی اپناتے ہیں۔ میں شاید یہاں اکیلی ہوں جو کڑوا سچ بولتی ہوں۔

Left Pakistan with no meaningful friends at the exact moment it needed them most. The same diplomatic capital that Dar, Munir and Sharif spent six weeks rebuilding to stop a world war last night, Imran Khan spent four years destroying for a domestic audience. Pakistan is being named by the American president as the country that stopped the bombs. Talks are being held in Islamabad. The world is watching Pakistan with respect for the first time in years. His supporters are the only people outside Delhi and Tel Aviv who are unhappy about it. That is not a coincidence.
