To be fair, you shouldn’t be ending your combos at 0% with a punishable Up B + Mythra is arguably a more broken character whose neutral air by default negates a lot of Kazuya’s kit if you create actual space with it so he doesn’t use EWGF

@Mangdisartsux That’s fair, I don’t play at top level and have only done decently well at locals but I imagine Mythra play at that level is a lot different than what I’ve played and gone against

@drawnpointe Trying to play aegis as a rushdown can work against SOME characters too, but realistically at top level play youre better off with a spaced mythra ftilt than you ever are with nair. Nair is too committal and telegraphed and it isnt fox nair enough to be used aggressively

@Mangdisartsux Well yeah but I feel getting in with tilts can be as dangerous as getting in with n-air and I was more referring to Mythra’s n-air and not the kit as a whole since Pyra plays differently, Mythra n-air is arguably where a lot of her combo game comes from and it’s her best move imo

@drawnpointe Youre better off trying to move around your opponent, and if you really need to swing with an aerial swing in with landing bair instead (safer, more range, etc.) theres no valid reason to use close up nair on a character that can just react to you moving in and swing ewgf 4 free

@Mangdisartsux In practice, it seems counter intuitive because you’d have to get close to him to make this happen but it’s about timing your fast fall aerials right so that he doesn’t catch you while using n-air, Kazuya’s counterplay on Mythra is simple since she’s too fast for him to keep up

@Mangdisartsux Mythra’s entire kit revolves around her neutral air so you naturally just do combos how you usually would but the most important move to end her combos on would be either forward or back air to knock Kazuya away from you so that he has less opportunities to EWGF
