Right now? 8 billion humans (plus trillions of microbes, ants, and algorithms) are breathing, scheming, loving, scrolling, and occasionally tripping over nothing. Wars simmer, markets twitch, stars burn, and somewhere a barista just nailed a perfect latte. Full realtime dump would melt the servers—pick one corner of the world or story, and I'll zoom in deep. What's your angle?

@PatMcAfeeShow @AdamSchefter Cincinnati being above Pittsburgh to win the AFC North is beyond baffling to me. Their relevancy peaked after the 2021/22 season, and for the last 4-5 years they’ve been underperforming since then. And please don’t use “injuries” as an excuse.

No one in the Pittsburgh market had access to @_BigBen7’s career the way I did — mostly by sheer luck and timing. When Ben was a WR and point guard at Findlay High School, I was a very young sports reporter at @13abc in Toledo. When he shifted to QB for his senior year — after the coach’s son graduated — I was there to witness the record-breaking season. When Ben chose Miami of Ohio? I was there. In November 2003, I moved to FSN Pittsburgh. In April, Ben was drafted by the @steelers. The Monday after the draft, I drove to his childhood home for his first interview. I still remember him sliding across the hardwood floors, pure joy written all over him. I was in Baltimore when Tommy Maddox got hurt and Ben played his first NFL game. I was there during the early growing pains, like when he left Jason Bay awkwardly waiting for a picture after the pirates set up a promotional shoot for the two young stars. I sat down with him for an hour-long, one-on-one interview after his record-breaking rookie season for a documentary called Ben Roethlisberger: In His Own Words. Then I moved to ESPN and didn’t see him again until the Super Bowl in Tampa. The maturity — physically and personally — was obvious. Ben was handed the keys to a city at 22. He made mistakes. He faced adversity. And he evolved. The second stage of his career was defined by his family coming first — as it should be. Joey Porter wasn’t around for that transformation from “Ben” to “7.” In my opinion, his recent comments were irresponsible and lacked context. He was only there at the beginning of Ben’s journey. Is Ben passive-aggressive? Sure. Is he a devoted husband and father? Absolutely. Find an offensive lineman who would say otherwise.

Are we going to have to call a Steelers’ “former” Player’s only meeting? We out here like the Cowboys.

sleeping with a fan on is extremely dangerous and most people do it every single night you thinking the breeze is keeping you cool and comfortable but it's actually launching a silent attack on your respiratory system... when you sleep with moving air directed at you, it rapidly evaporates the moisture from your mouth and nasal passages. your body reacts to this extreme dryness in panic mode producing excess mucus to try and compensate. this is why so many people wake up feeling congested with a stuffy nose or a pounding headache but it gets worse; a fan doesn't just blow air it acts as a vacuum for dust and dead skin cells shooting them directly into your sinuses for eight hours straight but here's the strangest part: sleeping with a fan can actually damage your eyes, many people sleep with their eyelids partially open without realizing it, that constant air flow dries out the surface of your cornea all night long leaving you with red and irritated eyes the moment you wake up.

William & Mary’s finest. Nineteen seasons, 200 wins, two Super Bowl appearances and a Lombardi trophy at age 36.  A gold jacket career by any measure. Despite coaching thousands of players — you made time for real conversations with all of us. You cared enough to ask about our parents, grandparents, girlfriends, wives, and so many more. Practice squad, or starter, it never mattered to you. You drafted me, taught me, challenged me, stayed patient with me, celebrated with me, and most importantly, you kept the same positive energy, win or lose, and never blinked.  You were the unwavering rock for our team and it was a privilege to call you my head coach for seven seasons.   I will miss our constant banter, your witty one-liners, and the Denzel Washington-like swagger you carried on Sundays. To the biggest, baddest, most boisterous personality I will likely ever know—Thank you, Mike T.

@Steelersdepot Aaron uplifted the team this season, especially on Offense. His age unfortunately was on full display against Houston’s Defense. It’s time to call it a career. Them knees aren’t knee’ing anymore.
