Someone bi calling themselves “half straight” would be pretty contradictory & invalidating to their sexuality

More like we experience biphobia in different ways. Bisexual women get called “straight” and bisexual men get called “gay”. Either way we don’t get viewed as actually being bi by any monosexual people bc in their head people can only be attracted to one gender at a time.

Being bisexual is such an interesting experience bc when you date a woman you get called a lesbian and when you date a man you get called straight. We can never be bi, it’s always one or the other for people. If ur monosexual, great for you. But remember that not everyone is.
