एक ऐतिहासिक पहल के तहत, 15 अगस्त 2025 से ₹3,000 की कीमत वाला FASTag आधारित वार्षिक पास शुरू किया जा है। यह पास सक्रिय होने की तिथि से एक वर्ष तक या 200 यात्राओं तक, जो भी पहले हो, वैध रहेगा।
यह पास केवल गैर-व्यावसायिक निजी वाहनों (कार, जीप, वैन आदि) के लिए विशेष रूप से तैयार किया गया है और यह देशभर के राष्ट्रीय राजमार्गों पर निर्बाध यात्रा को संभव बनाएगा।
वार्षिक पास के सक्रियण/नवीनीकरण के लिए जल्द ही राजमार्ग यात्रा ऐप और NHAI / MoRTH की वेबसाइट्स पर एक अलग लिंक उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा, जिससे प्रक्रिया सरल और सुगम होगी।
यह नीति 60 किलोमीटर के दायरे में स्थित टोल प्लाज़ाओं को लेकर लंबे समय से चली आ रहें कन्सर्न्स को अधोरेखित करेगी और एक ही सुलभ लेनदेन के माध्यम से टोल भुगतान को सहज बनाएगी।
प्रतीक्षा समय घटाकर, भीड़ कम कर और टोल प्लाज़ाओं पर विवाद को समाप्त कर, वार्षिक पास नीति लाखों निजी वाहन चालकों के लिए तेज़, सुगम और बेहतर यात्रा अनुभव के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
