It’s officially been a month since ZB1’s encore concert, and I want to share this story with you guys... Back during Boys Planet, I made a joke with my cousin if Gunwook made it into the debut lineup, I would keep my hair long until ZB1's contract ends (my hair was short at that time). What started as a joke somehow turned into a promise I kept for almost 3 years. I never cut it once, and my hair grew to nearly a meter long 😭 and everyone who knows me knows why I kept my hair for so long. Right after the encore concert, I finally decided to keep that promise and cut my hair really short. The hairdresser even asked me several times if I was sure I wanted to cut it really short, and even asked if someone had hurt me or something 😭 He also felt bad because I started crying when he cut the first section lmao After cutting it, I decided to donate my hair to those who need it more. It might sound a bit dramatic, but I did grow attached to my hair. It carried so many memories from ZB1’s journey from debut up until the encore concert. That’s why I didn’t want to just throw it away, I wanted it to mean something beyond just myself. Letting it go was not easy (both ot9 zb1 and my hair), but it felt like a way of giving back a small part of all the happiness they’ve given me. And somehow, it makes those memories feel even more meaningful, knowing they’re not just something I hold onto, but something I can pass on as well. 💙
