No hay gamma squeeze. Un gamma squeeze ocurre cuando los market makers tienen que cubrir opciones: si el precio sube, compran; si sigue subiendo, compran aún más. Ese efecto en cadena empuja el mercado de forma agresiva y crea rallies “forzados”. Ahora mismo no estamos ahí. Los MMs están ligeramente short gamma, pero en tamaño pequeño, sin capacidad de acelerar el precio. Además, están largos en calls porque los fondos están vendiendo upside para generar yield y financiar puts. Es decir, el smart money está limitando subidas mientras se protege por abajo (literalmente forzando al rango). Y aunque el precio suba, no hay estrés estructural: esas posiciones se pueden rolear sin problema. No hay positioning extremo, no hay desequilibrio, no hay combustible. Esto no va de derivados. Va de narrativa. Si el mercado se mueve, será por macro, noticias o política.
