@curt_kokain if I didn't experience the side effects of purging (specifically the one where it puts strain on your eyes there's a chance blindness will occur) I'd probably still purge but then if I did still purge I'd eventually experience deadly effects sooner or later so... dont purge.

@fa_29z Your mind will change a lot, but trust me don’t go for earning potential only. Find something you actually care about because you will attack it in a way no AI can and employers see that raw computing can never replicate human passion and innovation

@chasingskin4eva EED eems like a degree where I can get a job anywhere but everyone is persistent that I won’t stay anywhere other than bad ol’ USA I’ve been confused for a year, I’ve changed my mind abt my degree abt 5 times alrdy. From doctor to teaching is crazy.

Well as someone who wanted to teach high school I would not say that teaching is chill really. Elementary education is an incredibly important role and you will need to have the patience and bandwidth to teach kids day in day out. It has to be a job you love for you to be able to keep up with it without hating yourself and it’s STILL hard. No one really knows what AI is gonna take over and what it won’t. But a lot of companies are already re-hiring humans to fill IT positions because AI is too expensive to keep up, at least for now. Find a degree you care about in any way and just get your foot in the door in the job market. Once you’re in, you can go anywhere. You aren’t really limited by your degree as much anymore.

@fa_29z I’m going back to school for accounting because j think I will like it and it suits my natural interests and strengths ig. Go to school for whatever YOU want to do. You will do infinitely better in school and it will bring u a lot more joy
