Transitioning out of care and towards to independence isn't easy. Youth leaving care and navigating this transition need support. We need all political parties to commit to permanent funding for the Ready, Set, Go program and to strengthen integrated youth services in communities

More and more families with children presenting with complex needs requiring high-cast care are turning to their local child welfare agency for support. We need the next Ontario government to ensure they have access to the right care, at the right time, close to home.

Ontario’s child welfare funding model hasn’t been updated in 10 years. It’s time for that to change. We need a model focused on early intervention and prevention, as well as improved, equitable outcomes.
