On my end it’s because of how the show was written and edited. It’s more of a “show not tell” series. A lot of parts were clarified for the audience’s faces, albeit subtly, but a lot of parts were left with us to ponder on.

Though I will say, there are media that are in-your-face and very obvious with their intentions that a lot of people still fall under the wrong interpretation of. THAT (I would say) is when media literacy is deficient. The Bear, however, is not one of them. —
