🇳🇬 19-year-old Akpe Victory has quickly become one of the best young players in Hungary. He’s an ectomorph with great long legs and a height of 1.95m. The young defender is so composed and deals with danger extremely well. He has won 80% of his defensive duels so far. And he’s strong in the air as well, winning 67.5% of his 5.05 aerial duels per 90 minutes. A brilliant channel defender, who’s excellent at covering space and has good recovery speed as well. His reading of the game is top, too. A massive prospect. Won’t be in Hungary for very long. Would be an excellent option for a club in Belgium in my opinion.

🇭🇺 Incredible story developing in Hungary. Győri ETO (Milos Kerkez’s former club) are now just three games away from winning the Hungarian league title. They could end Ferencváros’ 7-year run of winning the league. Ten years ago Győri ETO were relegated to Hungary’s third division due to financial problems. It took them a long time but they earned promotion back to the top flight and have built an exciting young team playing great pressing and attacking football. Earlier this season they were just one game away from the Europa Conference League. A fantastic rise back to the top 🔝 They have a great academy (played a key role in Milos Kerkez’s and Ármin Pécsi’s development) and a good structure in place, with solid recruitment. An example for many clubs in Hungary.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Just want to say regarding Curtis Jones. As well as completing the most passes (78) and having the best passing accuracy on the pitch (94%) he also made the most recoveries (16!). The Liverpool player who made the second most was Konate with 5(!). It would be a huge mistake to sell him this summer. He has so much value and he is a club-trained homegrown player.

🇦🇺 Keep an eye on 18-year-old Lucas Herrington in the MLS for Colorado Rapids. He’s such a talented centre-back, who predominantly plays as an LCB. Strong in the air, reads the game well and very composed on the ball. He’s won 71.1% of his defensive duels in the MLS and the A-League and 65% of his aerial duels while making 10.33 recoveries and 5.2 interceptions per 90 minutes. Has everything to be a future top 5 league player in Europe. One to watch 👀

From what I understand #LFC scouts have followed Franculino for a long time (including this season) and he’s expected to be on the move this summer. Maybe one to watch given the terrible injury update on Hugo Ekitike 😢

🇩🇪 As well as being an excellent chance creator what I like about David Raum is how much of a leader he is. He is the captain of RB Leipzig and still only 27-years-old. When I watched him live this season vs Hoffenheim I was close to the touchline and it stood out to me how vocal he was. He was constantly directing and encouraging his teammates and was clearly the most active voice on the pitch. He’s got a very loud voice and that’s something #LFC will need after losing Andy Robertson, who had similar qualities. For the right price, I think Raum would be an excellent replacement for him.

🇪🇨 Next up for Independiente del Valle and Ecuadorean football is Santiago Muñoz. Another exciting young talent who predominantly plays as an LB or LWB but he can also play on the right side. He has a wand of a left-foot, and excellent vision to deliver passes from deep and crosses into the box from within the final third. He’s fast, a strong ball carrier and a player with a high level football IQ for his age. Deals extremely well under pressure, strong in his duels and has good anticipation, too. Already playing U20 football even though he was born in 2010. Another gem from the academy of Caicedo, Hincapie, Ordonez and Pacho. After the Quintero twins, Johan Martínez and Deinner Ordonez, he’s next up. Part of a golden generation of Ecuadorean football thanks to IdV. One to watch.

🇨🇮 Some strong links now with #LFC and Bazoumana Touré. I’ve been saying he is an ideal Liverpool profile for well over a year now, before he had even played a game in the Bundesliga. Was a big fan of him at Hammarby. He’s a really, really promising young player.

📊 Out of players who have attempted at least 4 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Bundesliga this season - Bazoumana Toure has the best completion rate (70%). He comes across a bit one dimensional in his dribbling, but it's extremely effective and very hard to stop. He will regularly look to push the ball past his opponent on the outside and supply a cross or cut-back into the box. That's his tactical role at Hoffenheim, and he does it extremely effectively. He's hard to stop because physically he's quite strong, uses his body very well, and he is also able to accelerate very rapidly - one of the fastest in Europe's top five league's right now which gives him a massive advantage. But the key is his first touch and positioning, Toure receives the ball really well on a consistent basis, he's front-footed and has good movement off the ball while his team is in possession to find himself in space. Defensively, he works tirelessly and presses really hard. Excellent at winning one vs ones. I also think Bazoumana has a lot more in his locker than some people might think. In his current tactical role he is a bit one dimensional - his role is clear - go down the wing and supply the penalty area with crosses. Coufal has a similar role on the other flank for Hoffenheim. But if you look at his career as a whole at Hammarby and for the national team, he can be a threat inside the box, too. And there's much more to him than just being a crosser of the ball, which he's excellent at. Ultimately, I think for the reported price tag (£35-37m) and his age profile, he could be the bargain of the summer.

Lightning can strike twice ⚡️ Zadok Yohanna wears the same no.36 for AIK that was once worn by Alexander Isak. Only 18-years-old, he’s averaging a goal or assist every 59 minutes this season. Remember the name. AIK will make a big profit on him.

🇨🇮 One thing I like about Yan Diomande is how good he is at being a clutch player. He scored another winner for RB Leipzig today. Looking into his numbers he has either scored or assisted RB Leipzig’s first goal of the game 10 times this season. That means 50% of his goal contributions so far this season helped RB Leipzig break the deadlock.

🇧🇷 Bruninho is one of the most exciting young talents in Brazil right now. A 17-year-old winger who thrives in one vs one situations and has an excellent left-foot. His footwork is excellent. Great, fast and shifty feet. Really good at selling his feints and dropping the shoulder to put his opponents off balance. What I like is that he’s quite good at switching the play. Has great vision and technique to pick out teammates on the other side of the pitch. In the games that I’ve watched he also works quite hard defensively. Very left-footed. I do feel like he needs to use his right more and work on that side of his game. But he’s a really exciting player. Already has 4 goals and 1 assist in 705 minutes for Athletico Paranaense’s first team.
