Thrilled to see my writer friend, Raewyn Elsegood, featured in this weeks’ @fixinghereyes blog! Check out her touching story of losing her 19-year-old daughter, and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for her debut book, ‘21 Gifts’, coming out in March 2026! fixinghereyes.org/single-post/5-…

@MurrayJCampbell @bairdjulia And Murray, can I ask you an “honest” question. Can you tell me that the women of Sydney have been taught, as rigorously as the alternative, a biblical basis for ordination? JenB

@bairdjulia Julia, this isn't a dig but an honest question. There are thousands of Anglican women in Sydney who believe in the diocesan position (including many ordained women). Have you interviewed any and/or written a story to let them explain why they hold their view?

For decades, protesters have stood outside the Sydney Anglican church's synod, challenging their refusal to ordain women as priests, or give them full voice in the church, and their insistence women submit to men. Here they are again, this week. I so admire those who persist.

Our young adults often Google their theological & Christian living questions and get super whacky answers from the bowels of the internet. So I'm working on a list of reputable online resources for them - orthodox, Reformed, evangelical. Where should I be sending them?

Any woman who wants to learn about ministry, exegesis, biblical languages, church history, theology and earn her MDiv is very much welcome to come study with us at the Bible College of South Australia. (Yes, this is, in fact, a subtweet. And I don’t feel bad about that one bit.)

Not gonna lie; I was beginning to think I was impervious to the spicy cough. Turns out I’m not.

Got to walk among the bluebells with my two favourite people. These blue beauties appear for just a couple of weeks a year, then, with nothing more to prove, they take a bow until their next performance. No clambering for attention, just bringing their gifts when they're needed.

5,007 people have died in Australia from Covid-19 in 2022 (from January 1 to April 30). I will honestly never understand how we decided this was acceptable.
