🚨🇮🇩 A major landslide (a couple of days ago) above the Sipulak Hydroelectric Power Plant in Kecamatan Pakkat, North Sumatra, blocked the Aek Sirahar River, causing water to pool behind the dam at an estimated height of 70 meters. Authorities warn that rising pressure and heavy rain could trigger a dam collapse, leading to flash floods downstream in Barus, Andam Dewi, and along the river. Local officials and the military are alerting residents and coordinating temporary evacuations while monitoring the situation closely.
