I was brought up to hate Tory ideology. I was also told the Liberals have no class base and will always betray us. I’ve learned through my life that this was spot on. When it came to Labour I was on the doorstep for Harold Wilson until he sent the troops into Ireland although I applauded that he refused to support the war in Vietnam. Blair with his 5 wars in as many years,his love of Thatcher,privatisation and PFI eventually taught me to hate Labour. When Jeremy Corbyn, against all the odds, became leader we all flocked to hear a politician articulate socialist policies until the poison against him started to gain ground. Now, creatures like Thornberry, the dregs of our political class, are all that is left. The machinery will never allow democracy within its ranks again and Labour will never again raise itself out of the mire. Don’t vote Tory or Labour - vote for a candidate you know who has a proven record and stands by the principles of the @forthemany_net

The intention of several European countries to recognize a Palestinian state is a reward for terrorism. 80% of the Palestinians in Judea and Samaria support the terrible massacre of October 7. This evil cannot be given a state. This would be a terrorist state. It will try to repeat the massacre of October 7 again and again; we will not consent to this. Rewarding terrorism will not bring peace and neither will it stop us from defeating Hamas.

I cannot be the only one who thinks this - look - we all saw the horror of Oct 7th - it gained global sympathy for Israel, who immediately took that currency and chucked it in the bin. but you'd think right, in the never-ending effort to present as victims, there would be ONE bit of footage of Hamas or ANY Palestinian combatants actually fighting posted somewhere online? I'm not kidding - and I have a large reach over most of the platforms - I haven't seen a single piece of footage that you could call combat. sure, the IDF bowls-up to a 'Hamas base' and miraculously all the opposing fighters have gone. ''yeah it's a hospital a lot of the time but look at all this naughty stuff they left! '' and yeah Iran sent a message of some ordnance they knew full well would fall on the Iron Dome. but combat ? you know - this 'war' that is supposed to be happening - no one would benefit more than Israel to see some attackers and footage of being attacked. Right? nothing would legitimise the cause of the IDF more than the world seeing them actually being assaulted. Perhaps some IDF casualties? Anything? I mean a cynic might think there is a gigantic fiction going on and that Hamas is literally a handful of pathetically ill-equipped men, many of whom already dead and/or captured last year, and are an almost non-existent enemy in a theatre of fake conflict that contains almost zero hazard for the dominant side. Just so glad I'm not a cynic, or the very idea would be almost unbearable. I mean, there is a word for mass murder based on a specific population with no defence capability or ability to flee, right?

@alon_mizrahi I honestly don’t know what the answer is, but it’s clear that the marches, protests, petitions and appeals of the last 7 months have got us precisely nowhere. At best we’ve been ignored, at worst subjected to state-sponsored violence, as seen most recently in the US. It’s bleak.

I don't know what kind of picture you're getting from international media sources, but what's happening in Israel is profusely clear. Multiple members of this government, including PM Netanyahu and Minister of Defence Galant, announced many times in the past days that an operation in Rafah is happening no matter what. Israel will not agree to stop the war under any condition. - This is also the opinion of the majority of Israelis. The ones demonstrating are a relative minority and even they will not disobey an order to join their reserve units and go into Rafah. Also, for all means and purposes, the operation already started, and Israel has taken control of the Rafa crossing and is bombing Rafah extensively. - The White House and the Egyptians are helping Israel by putting this operation under a cloud of fake doubt. There is no doubt, it is happening. The Americans will blame Hamas for the failure of the negotiations soon is my best guess. - So don't let this coordinated psyop campaign derail your revolutionary enthusiasm, if I can call it that. Prepare to march and demonstrate like you never did. Israel is going into Rafah, the US and the West are helping Israel, and only a huge international protest movement can save the remaining children of Gaza.

No. Humanizing Palestinians is not antisemitism. Period. I want peace for ALL people, and that *includes* Palestinians. What we’re not going to do is erase the pain of Palestinians and the horrors of what’s happening in Gaza.
