i never got the obsession with wanting the spider-man suit to look too extra polished or overcomplicated just because he's in a big-budget marvel movie. this mundane appeal is literally the whole point of this hero and mind you it was executed beautifully. he looks perfect.

restricting your imagination really takes the fun out of it, man. if a filmmaker wants to use their creative liberty to shrink you and the camera down inside the mask giving us a perspective from a space that doesn't even exist, i'm all for it.

Giving him a flip phone is a fun character bit since in theory the closing screen would mean it breaks less often but as someone who has one its kinda hard to suspend my disbelief because the screens on these love to shit themselves for no reason
