Qubetics dVPN blocked on Android: here’s the real reason The dVPN feature inside the Qubetics Wallet is fully developed, tested, and working. Yet Google Play keeps rejecting the app. This is not a technical issue. It’s a policy issue. The app uses Android’s VpnService API, which creates a system-level VPN tunnel. From a technical standpoint, it behaves exactly like a full VPN. However, Google Play only allows VPN usage when it is the core functionality of the app and when the app fits specific categories such as security, parental control, enterprise, or browsers. Here’s the problem. Qubetics is classified as a crypto wallet, not a VPN app. This creates a direct conflict. Even though the implementation is correct, it is considered non-compliant. Result: same rejection on every submission no technical issues reported explicit request to remove VpnService In short, the product is ready but blocked by policy restrictions. Qubetics Technical Update Over the past few days, the Qubetics team has addressed several key concerns raised by the community, including the CertiK audit, dVPN experience, and RPC performance. Regarding Chain Abstraction, the delay was not due to structural issues but to new security observations identified during the CertiK audit. This led to important architectural improvements, including epoch based transactions, batch processing, and a more secure DKG system. All required changes have already been implemented and shared with CertiK. The system is ready, and the team is now waiting for the final audit approval to proceed with the launch. On the dVPN side, the network remains stable for the majority of users. A few isolated issues were identified, mainly related to non optimized nodes or incomplete wallet connections. The team is actively working to further improve reliability and user experience. As for the RPC infrastructure, a separation between public traffic and dVPN traffic has been introduced. This significantly improves performance and stability by reducing congestion. Overall, Qubetics comes out of this phase stronger, with an improved architecture, enhanced security, and a more efficient infrastructure.
