It was real a real honour to be invited to the inaugural meeting of The Law Society of Ireland’s Members Steering Group for the Society’s Future Property Strategy which will start with the New Law School Building (on campus) at Blackhall Place. Followed by guiding the members on a walk to review the scope and phasing.

Over the last few months I have watched this group work and work and work to get the special honour to wear the Blue Jersey of Dublin. Next Saturday 2 o’clock, they welcome one of the most exciting young teams in hurling to Parnell Park, Last year’s All Ireland Finalist, Offaly. Free in for all aged 16 and under. Bring your Club Team to support.

In James Kerr's book Legacy, which explores the lessons of leadership from the New Zealand All Blacks, former fly-half Andrew Mehrtens talks about the ritual of 'sweeping the sheds' after a game. "It's an example of personal discipline, it's not expecting somebody else to do your job for you," he says. "It teaches you not to expect things to be handed to you. If you have personal discipline in your life, then you are going to be more disciplined on the field."

Some last minute “cramming” we use to call it. Great to see this student taking full advantage of all the facilities at @LawSocIreland before a 10am exam start. The FM team really enjoy supporting the students in what is always a time of focus. Shout out to Cleaning Crew, place is looking good. Hard work and talent beats everything

Just hearing of the very sad passing of Shane O’Hanlon God he loved St Vincent’s and Dublin GAA with an incredible passion. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis
