@SarahLudford, this is the usual lazy smear from someone unwilling to engage honestly. When @andreajenkyns talks about returning Britain to its "glorious past," she's not calling for the return of slavery, child labour, or prejudice. She's talking about a time when Britain had national pride, cohesion, strong borders, and a government that actually put its own people first. Let's break down your points: Slavery? Britain led the global fight to abolish it - we didn't invent it, we ended it, often at great national cost. Child labour? Ended by British reformers - not ideologues, not revolutionaries. Bigotry? Yes, it existed - like it has in every nation. But Britain, unlike most, evolved - and did so without tearing down its own civilisation in the process. And your nostalgic love for the NHS? Built by the very generation you're sneering at. The same people who survived war, rationing, and rebuilt the country with dignity, discipline, and a sense of shared duty. That is part of Britain's glory. Here's the real kicker: it's not Andrea Jenkyns dragging Britain into the dark ages. It's those arriving en masse from societies utterly at odds with British values - where women are second-class, free speech is a crime, religious law overrides civil law, and liberal democracy is seen as a threat. That's the real regression - and worse, it's being enabled by the very same progressive class too paralysed by guilt and ideology to push back. What Jenkyns - and many others - want is a return to order, merit, sovereignty, and civilisational self-respect. A rejection of the rot that's set in under the false promise of "progress." This isn't about nostalgia for injustice - it's about preserving what worked, and defending it before it's gone for good. If that offends you, perhaps the problem isn't with history - but with the future you're blindly cheering on.

Great speech by VP @JDVance!

Pete Hegseth clarified his position on women in combat roles, and I COMPLETELY AGREE! "In those ground combat roles, what is true is the weight on your back doesn‘t change." "The weight of the bravo machine gun you might have to carry does not change. Whether it is a man or woman, they have to meet the same high standards. In any place where those things have been eroded or course criteria have been changed in order to meet quotas, racial quotas or gender quotas, that is putting a focus on something other than readiness standards, meritocracy, lethality." "That is the kind of review I am talking about."

Farmers across the UK have met the news that inheritance tax relief for farms will be limited to £1m with anger. The National Farmers' Union said it had been a “disastrous budget” for family farms, that would “snatch away the next generation’s ability to carry on producing British food” and see farmers forced to sell land to pay the tax.

As if the Satanic display at the opening ceremony wasnt enough, the Olympics glorifies men punching women in the face with the intent of knocking them unconscious. Imane Khelif is 1 of 2 male boxers fighting women at the Olympics. A woman is going to die.

“If you really went to the moon & spent $200 Billion dollars you would never destroy the technology” Not only did they destroy it - NASA also lost all the original footage. Do you think Mankind’s ‘Greatest Accomplishment’ is nothing more than yet another Scam?
