🎭A great KS2 Panto trip this morning to Whitley Bay Playhouse to see Beauty & the Beast.🌹One of our Y6 pupils even made it onto the stage on his birthday!
Thanks to all volunteers who came to help us today. Hope you enjoyed it! 😃
Today we held a small memorial service for our late Caretaker, Calvin Culyer. Just Mr Culyer's family, some staff, governors, school council & eco-warriors. We planted a lovely oak tree to remember him by & Rev. Moon said a few words. It was perfect. Thanks to all who donated.❤️
A massive 'thank you' to Paul Prosperini who has provided us with excellent caretaker support over the past two terms. He has worked hard in difficult circumstances & we are eternally grateful to him for all he has done for Amberley. You can go back to being retired now!😂
This afternoon's KS2 assembly was led by Deborah from Nexus who told our children about keeping themselves & others safe on the metro. It was lovely to have her in school- thank you! 😃#contextualsafeguarding
The worst thing about becoming rich (500M+) is that there’s nothing to buy.
You invest to increase your money, but that’s not buying things.
20 cars, 10 houses, yacht, jet, 15 diamond watches. Done.
Then you’re left with PILES OF MONEY and nothing at all to buy besides steak.
A fantastic £2100 profit made at our @Amberley_PTFA Summer Fair. Massive thanks to our brilliant PTFA and staff helpers and special thanks to our Amberley families for supporting the fair, the raffle and also for providing generous donations. You're amazing!
I said this to a girl not too long ago.
We were on the verge of breaking up.
I told her, “You will have a harder time replacing me than I will ever have to replace you.”
She got upset, and a week later, she came back and said
“It really upset me… But I do know it’s true.”
It’s harder for men to reach the top.
It takes years of ruthless work, dedication, and inability to quit.
However…
Once you gain those traits, you truly become irreplaceable.
This lovely Y4 pupils is leaving us today, after being part of our Amberley family since Reception, to live in India. Here she is having her final school lunch! We have LOVED knowing you & working with you & wish you the happiest of times in your new home & school ❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤️🙌🏻 Our first Forest School strawberry! It was so sweet and fresh! My gardening gang were so excited and proud! Our wild cow parsley is flourishing and loving this weather too!🙌🏻❤️
What an excellent addition to our Forest school- thank you Ruth, Shiela and our Eco Warriors for making it happen.
A huge thank you to @Amberley_PTFA for funding such a beautiful project. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
