Fortifyd co-founder @AnnePisor met with other adaptation professionals at the National Adaptation Forum this week, sharing ideas for how behavioral science can help people prepare for disasters. Storytelling can raise awareness about risks and share actions to address them.

The Fortifyd app will use behavioral science and expert guidance to help people prepare for natural disasters. According to data from the FEMA 2023 National Household Survey on Disaster Preparedness, 38 percent of respondents intend to prepare but have not yet started.
