@HoodyJandro @MrUnloved1s @MatthewJWelty I think collabs with a bigger brand, no matter the name, I would think the more leverage smaller brand can bring to the table likely correlates to the amount of pairs available.
Undefeated 4s btw 100-200k pairs in '25 compared to AMM collabs as an example. But I could be wrong 🤷♂️

@HoodyJandro @MrUnloved1s @MatthewJWelty Has utilized over & over producing a billion $ brand. Likewise, other brands that follow similar structure have seen similar results; i.e. Kith has completely leaned on collabs since the beginning turning into one of the most popular streetwear brands.

But that’s not the intent of collabs.. like at all. I got his point, but this made me look at him differently. The purpose of a shoe collaboration is to leverage the combined brand awareness.. nothing to do with exclusivity. That is a byproduct of cost and time to do the collaboration. All that other shit is semantics at the end of the day and a feeling of elitism and entitlement. But I do understand your point.

@Raphkicksllc I could be off, but this is a clear case of *insert brand here* milking what used to be hot until profits are pennies. Disagree that heads are through paying aftermarket prices. That trend will never die. Black market props up reg market and sneakers aren't special.

There was such weak volume when prices were > $1,000 it was almost a given they were going to tank
My guess is this shoe settles in the $550 range, the consumer has made it pretty clear they’re done paying absurd prices for sneakers
