I voted straight party line until my late 20s, when I believed the GOP was stepping into individual freedoms and rights.

@pos_and_neg @cb_doge Demonstrating proficiency in English is already required for naturalization. This does not mean English must be spoken when in public. The English requirement is to ensure that citizens, both birthright & naturalized, understand all laws and the government of our country.

There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.
