Monitoring showers and storms to southwest; two rounds of storms possible. Concern highest 3 to 6 p.m. Warm, humid air has moved over the area, with temperatures into the 60s. This unstable air will help fuel storms later. We’re carefully watching a couple areas of showers and storms to the west and southwest that could affect the area: * Storms around Roanoke, which have prompted severe thunderstorm warnings, could affect some of our western areas (highest odds west and north of the Beltway) late this morning and toward midday as they move northeast. Some warnings for severe weather are possible as they move through. * Trailing those storms, another line of storms is expected to form and sweep through the region from west to east between 3 and 6 p.m. These are the storms that may have the highest potential to produce damaging straight line winds and perhaps some tornado activity. We’ll continue to monitor.

@UVaHoopsRiffs @DNeckel19 I00% agree about the recruiting. He can't maintain that guys don't want to come to UVa because of substandard facilities anymore so he has to start landing some of these in-state kids and stop the flow of talent away from C'ville

@DNeckel19 agreed it would be bad but not bad enough. the two big road wins + leap to 5 this yr + lingering benefit if doubt re:tragedy & TE grace in handling... pretty close to 100% imo the lack of enough positive progress on recruiting is biggest mark against retaining.

Elliott's job is 100% secure regardless of rest of season. Not saying whether that should be the case, but even three bad losses at this point won't change things.
