@vesh88 It’s unbelievable. I remember watching the Matildas in the 90’s at Breakers Stadium in front of about 8 people and their dogs. You’d have been called crazy for even considering a 30k crowd (on a weeknight!) for a womens game back then.

Lots seem so disappointed about the Matildas crowd in last night's Asian Cup semi. The previous full tournament crowd record was 59,000. I think 35,000 at 6pm on a Tuesday night in 35 degrees heat is pretty fucking good

Get rid of finals football from the A-League? Finals may not be football culture but it's a HUGE part of Australian sporting culture and has been just as huge for the A-League.

It’s purely down to funding. Olympic medals a better gauge. Compared to Australia - 🇦🇺 has 31 medals (14 gold), 🇳🇿 25 medals (9 gold).

@BielsaBall Australia does this. If an A-League team gets drawn against a lower tier club the lower tier club automatically hosts.

Imagine the FA Cup if every round you had to play away if you’re in the superior league, such a good rule.

So, bought a Amazon Firestick on Christmas Eve for $64.. Plugged it in last night, and i can confirm it is the most incredible thing ive ever seen, basically every sporting channel in the whole world you could ever imagine. If you are thinking about it... you should probably do it.
