If the unconscious is compared to the infinite, and consciousness to finite reality, then it makes more sense to see the unconscious not as something hidden behind the ego, but as the ground from which consciousness emerges. We have not lost unity. We have lost the signal.

prolly too left curve but i prefer no reserve auctions
an auction is already a mechanism for price discovery and i’d rather have my work go to someone at market price than have it sit there
if the price is zero then that’s reality and i can get back to work making my next thing
