In our four decades of elephant conservation, this challenge to save two stricken elephants stands out as one of our more challenging operations. Teams battled time, terrain, and rising tides to pull off an extraordinary rescue. This is the impact our field teams are having in Kenya – mounting rapid responses to save wild lives. Our Air Wing played a significant role in the operation, mobilising our helicopter and transporting hundreds of metres of tow straps in our fixed-wing aircraft.
