Friendly reminder that if you sing ‘I wore the scarf around my neck at Chesterfield and Crewe’ then you’re getting it wrong. It’s ‘I wore it proudly round my neck at Chesterfield and Crewe’. Proudly, not the scarf. One of the points of the song is you don’t mention ‘the scarf’ until the last line. Hope this helps.
