My prediction of what is going to happen with Ramayana (movie) - Huge hype at the start, trailers will trend, everyone will talk about scale and VFX. - First big controversy hits, Ranbir Kapoor’s beef clips resurface, outrage starts, narrative shifts from film to religion. - Boycott vs Defend begins, film turns into a debate instead of a movie. - Makers go into damage control, interviews, statements, trying to calm sentiments. - Every scene gets judged, people compare it with what they believe Ramayana should look like. - Strong opening in North India and South mainly because of Yash fans. - If content doesn’t hit perfectly, collections will drop hard after weekend - Overseas won’t save it, this film depends on Indian audience only. - If things go bad, expect emotional appeals from makers asking people to support the film. Overall, high risk film, one mistake and it collapses fast 😕
