The replies to this tweet are completely delusional. It's really weird to me the lengths at which people go to deny how useful AI can be and exaggerate its flaws.

@Falaaz0 @iiwasinthee212 she didn’t spell this out; she believes that Iran and Israel together should be hegemonic in the region with a strategic partnership. she claims that Israel is waging the war from inside Iran with the hopes of pushing the US out. this is far different from Nick’s theory.

@MattWalshBlog Bro you have been telling people for the past two years to stop fixating so much on the Middle East because that’s a non-issue for Americans. Well, this is what happens when patriotic Americans bury their head in the sand while Israelis take over our foreign policy.

I use AI to do research (i.e., find things to read, explain parts of academic papers I find ambiguous or confusing), transcribe interviews, generate pushback on my column thesis, suggest trims when I'm over my word count, sharpen podcast interview questions, and perform a final fact check on columns and editorials. But mostly it's compressing the ancillary tasks to the main job: reading, thinking, and writing.

Some of the younger fans have no idea how good this guy was 🔥

Nick uses his HIGH IQ to explain why Trump is targeting Kharg Island, and why it is such an important military target. Simultaneously, Trump has to plan a ground invasion to gain leverage over Iran, while not upsetting the world markets.

Fifteen minutes before Trump's Iran bombshell, billions flooded into a mystery oil bet - now the hunt is on for who knew trib.al/0jqGNyi

Trump: We're going to bomb your energy facilities if you don't open the Strait of Hormuz in 2 days. Iran: F off. Trump: OK, you have 5 more days. Iran: F off. Trump: Fine, we'll give you 10 days like you asked. Iran: We didn't ask for anything. F off.
