how have I been a vtuber for like 3 years and I'm just learning about the fun effects on vtube studio now like wtf, I can't wait to look up videos on this to try out cool effects

@lilithxiettv The nice thing about messaging someone is you can say "hi my name is xx, I know you through xxx, I heard about everything that he did from him online, would you be okay with talking about it?" It's not hard to not trigger the victim when asking about evidence & leaves it

am i crazy to think that searching for and messaging the victim, essentially forcing her to relieve her trauma, especially when the guy already admitted to everything and deactivated is a really fucked up thing to do? i feel so terrible for that girl

@comfycheeks yeah see I get that for multi word usernames but idk I genuinely have had ppl read out like 3-4 long usernames and then they just call me hex lmao

@hexagrem XD personally i just shorten everyones name, the only time i read out a long name is when they follow or subscribe for the first time. Otherwise I just shorten it to make it easier for myself to read the chat haha

okay someone explain to me why streamers will read out usernames fully like "MrRuperTheDogWalker" but then THEY CALL ME HEX??? LIKE I HAVE A ONE WORD USERNAME, WHY DOES EVERYONE EVEN NON DBD STREAMERS DEFAULT AND CALL ME HEX drives me bonkers bro

@SanguineRuby I think I might be a special case bc for the longest time I was solely a DBD streamer so everyone in the community that met me assumed to call me hex bc it’s DBD related.. but that’s not at all why I chose my username lmao

@fangzAH I do too but I think I overthink about calling people the wrong name bc of my own pet peeves. I called someone the wrong username for OVER A YEAR and they never corrected me, it was an old mod that actually pointed it out to me and I was horrified hahaha

@hexagrem it should be normalized to ask chatters about how to address their usernames, like how we do for names irl, in my humble opinion 😭not only does it help prevent frustration like this, but would help chatters feel welcome I think, but that’s just me 😭

@hexagrem if i were to read it its because hex is the easiest to say without fear of saying it wrong and I would not think your name is grem ^-^;

@hexagrem First part of the username will always be my default and I know that's the case for most streamers too. Hex is also a full word instead of grem which is shortened, so I think most people just tend to default to the full word they know ^^'

@KorpseKlaunz everyone that knows me calls me grem but any time I stop into a new chat, it's 99% of the time "hex" and it DRIVES ME NUTS
