Don’t worry about Elon becoming rich with his own money. Worry about politicians becoming rich with your money.

@TheRabbitHole Most of the revenue from Tesla and SpaceX comes from the U.S. Treasury -- taxpayer funded contracts with the US government. He's done a lot of big stuff, but for at least the past decade he's been feeding at the public trough as much as anyone on the planet.

@TheRabbitHole Elon employs over 150,000. people. He is responsible for their livelihoods. The wealthier he becomes the more he can build and employ. Democrats are such simpletons.

Elon has made millions of people serious money by owning his companies. I don’t mind paying SOME taxes , for the privilege to live in this wonderful country . But lets not demonize the people who add great value to this country by their ingenuity, dedication , determination and discipline to better this country , world and mankind.

@cstanley Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders need to speak to SpaceX employees and see how much they appreciate Musk and his work ethic and his love of his employees instead of running off their mouths …

I took this photo on my first day at SpaceX, nearly a decade ago. It is hard to put into words how much this company has changed my life. From the early days before Starlink was built, to the first Starship launch, the Twitter acquisition, DOGE, xAI, and now SpaceX going public, I feel incredibly grateful to have contributed to such an amazing mission. I had the opportunity to be involved in something much bigger than myself, something that genuinely pushes the world and humanity forward. To everyone who built this company, believed in the mission, and gave so much of themselves to make this possible, thank you. I will always be grateful to have been a small part of it. I fucking love this company from the bottom of my heart. $SPCX

Elon’s wealth is not cash he can spend. Elon’s wealth is equity in the industries he has built. Elon’s intrinsic wealth is the people he employs, for otherwise he would be unable to benefit all of humanity, like you, even if they envy his success. Some are jealous… or is it envy? There is a difference.

Be brutally honest: Are you deeply outraged that, while hundreds of millions of Americans and I are struggling financially, Elon Musk has now become the world's first trillionaire, with more wealth than he could spend in 1,000 lifetimes? Yes or no?

Parents, also single parents, were educated by teachers who corrected poor behavior and taught children manners and respect for elders. 4-letter filthy words got their mouths washed out with soap! Not always, but just the promise set kids right. People of all class and rank were clean and dressed appropriately in public for their own self respect.

Surely hope Mr. Dershowitz convinces many other Americans to fear the Democratic “Party”.
Mike Netter@nettermike

Alan Dershowitz is 87 years old, a Harvard Law professor emeritus, and one of the most recognized legal minds in America. He has been a registered Democrat since he was 14 years old — over 70 years. In a recent podcast interview, Dershowitz made his position unmistakable. “I’ve been a Democrat for 70 years. I now am strongly opposed to that party. I want them defeated in every single election,” he said. “I want to see Democrats lose control of the House and lose control of the Senate and lose control of the presidency because I am scared of them. They are against America, they are against Israel, they are against the Jews.” Dershowitz compared the current climate in American universities to Berlin in 1932 — before Hitler’s rise to power — citing the turn against Jewish students and the demonization of Israel. “I feel I am one of the few people standing up against my old party,” he said. He has announced he will campaign actively for Republicans in the 2026 midterms — not because he embraces the Republican agenda, but because the alternative terrifies him. “I’m totally frightened if the Democrats were to gain control,” he told Newsmax, warning of what he described as a new McCarthyism targeting political opponents. Wikipedia now lists his party affiliation as Republican — after over six decades as a Democrat. When a man who has spent his entire adult life on one side of the political divide looks at where his party has gone and says he is scared of it — that is worth stopping to consider. Proverbs 14:12 says, “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.” Not every road that starts with good intentions stays on a good path. Dershowitz watched a party he loved for 70 years go somewhere he no longer recognizes. What do you think — is the Democratic Party of today the same party it was 20 years ago?

Kevin Kimmel was parked at a truck stop when something made him look twice. An old RV. A young girl who appeared briefly at the window — and was immediately pulled back. The shade drawn. Most people would have looked away. Written it off as nothing. Moved on. Kevin Kimmel had attended a training session run by an organization called Truckers Against Trafficking. He knew what he was looking at. He called the police. That phone call ended weeks of physical and sexual abuse for the girl in that RV. Truckers Against Trafficking was founded in 2009 on a simple and powerful insight: truck drivers are everywhere. They cover the nation's highways around the clock. They stop at truck stops, rest areas, and motels in every city and county in America. They see things that most people never see — and because they're always moving, they see patterns across regions and routes that no single community could detect alone. "Trafficking happens everywhere," says Kylla Lanier, one of TAT's co-founders. "It's happening in homes, in conference centers, at schools, casinos, truck stops, hotels, motels, everywhere. It's an everywhere problem — but truckers happen to be everywhere." TAT trains truckers and truck stop employees to recognize the signs that aren't obvious to the untrained eye. A person with no access to their own ID or money. Conversation that sounds scripted, like someone is reciting answers rather than speaking freely. A child who appears briefly and is abruptly pulled out of sight. The training doesn't ask truckers to intervene directly. It asks them to pay attention — and to make a phone call. Since 2009, TAT has trained over 2 million people. Those trained truckers and employees have helped law enforcement free hundreds of trafficking victims, including more than 300 minors. Three hundred children. Each one of them representing a Kevin Kimmel moment — someone who paid attention, recognized what they were seeing, and made a call. "Before, if I saw a prostitute, I would have thought, 'Hey, that's what they want to do,'" says Sam Tahour, District Manager for TA Travel Plaza. "Now I know what signs to look for. I know what actions to take. This is what's going on out there, and these people need a hero." The heroes in this story aren't wearing capes. They're driving trucks across the country in the middle of the night, paying attention to a window shade being drawn a little too quickly, and knowing that the right response is to pick up a phone. Kevin Kimmel did that. A girl is safe because he did.
