People are so disingenuous comparing these passes.
6 characters in 10 months vs 4 in like 10 months with half of them dropping after the cup so they’re not even legal for the season. Not even counting the lack of stages/costumes. It’s obviously less content.

@NessMudkip same :( like i really try to be positive about these things, but atp it doesn’t even seem like capcom cares. this is probably the first seasons pass i won’t buy, and i also don’t care for tifa so it’s even worse for me omg😭😭 (plus i’ve always been an aerith girlie </3)

season 1 > season 3 > season 2 > season 4
the fact that capcom has managed to make something worse than season 2 is BAFFLING. and im sorry for being a negative nancy here , so feel free to mute / block — but this is GENUINELY the worst seasons pass i’ve ever seen.

@Dr_Dizzier i’ve been a fan of sf since i was at least 4 years old and have played all the sf games. sf alpha 3 and sf4 are some of my favs. now what?
it’s not that hard to realize that sf6 isn’t everyone’s first sf game. there are characters we genuinely love and want to see return

@Super__Yan i agree. most of my frustration also comes with the fact that 4 characters a year makes it more jarring when characters you want don’t appear. however it’s worse for me because we now have our 3rd guest in 4 years..🤦🏽♀️ and the other 3 are newbies. this just isn’t for me </3

@http_yxmato I understand and share the disappointment but it's impossible for them to make everyone happy with only 4 characters each year—that's the real problem.
Guest characters like SNK and Tifa should be EXTRA from the 4. Each pass should include >1 returning character too.

i personally think the pass would’ve been good with bosch , yasmine , vega and a fan favourite . i’m not sure why they chose to clutter all of this into a single year

My full opinion on year 4:
-Bosch is fine. I like Bosch. He should have been base roster but whatever
-In a vacuum Yasmine is fine. If there were 2 newcomers and the other two were vega and anyone from sfiii that would be fine.
-Arjun is just dhalsim again
-tifa shouldn't be here

This sf6 season pass made me realize most sf fanboys are cattle. They don't think for themselves. They're the personification of "you hate whimsy" and they're happy to be in that state "just enjoy whatever capcom puts out without thinking"

@Blueberrypie52 no i just prefer aerith in every way. also no, you have to think abt players in japan too. avatars and wt are VERY popular. getting newcomers aren’t the main issue. it’s about releasing 3 of them with a guest and not a single returning legacy character that’s long overdue💔 #chop

@JaeBsoNasty tbf ed had a part to play in the overall story after sf4, and he also didn’t drop in a season with a guest and no anticipated legacy character(s). that’s my main gripe with this pass. its hard to not be annoyed by the amount of character missing 4 years in. im allowed to complain

You love Ed. A character that debuted in sf5 and replaced an already existing character that could have returned. That very well could happen again for one or more of these new characters.
Try not to get too comfortable complaining about things before you’ve even had the chance to experience them.
